Protocol Effective Date: March 16, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing SlackScan (the "Network"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these protocols, you are prohibited from utilizing the scanning services.
2. Use of Service
SlackScan provides intelligence and discovery tools for Slack communities. You agree to use these tools only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the signal integrity of the platform.
3. Data Utilization & Signal Intelligence
By interacting with the platform, you grant SlackScan a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to utilize, process, adapt, and distribute any data or metadata generated through your usage. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of community metrics and engagement signals to enhance our underlying network intelligence, develop new features, and optimize the discovery ecosystem.
4. Community Data
Community administrators who register their transmissions grant SlackScan a license to display public metadata (member counts, sectors, names). We do not store or scan private Slack messages.
5. Liability
SlackScan is provided "as-is." We are not responsible for the content or conduct within the Slack communities indexed on our platform. Your interactions with these communities are at your own risk.
5. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated protocols.
